Abstract
Battery testing is currently a costly and time-consuming process involving a wide range of tests, some of which can last for months or years. To bring battery development into the digital era, a new approach is required that leverages the latest advances in automation, data science, and modelling. The EU-funded DigiBatt project aims to develop innovative digital methods that extract more value from fewer tests, thereby saving time and resources in a highly competitive industry. The project will apply cutting-edge technology such as autonomous battery testing, model-based simulation, and data-driven semantics to promote digital battery testing.
